What does a Farmers Savings Bank & Trust customer expect from a savings account? They know that their money in an FSB&T savings account is safe, secure, and there when they need it; they know they will get competitive interest rates on their money. So if you're saving for that new home, a new car, your child's college education, or retirement, FSB&T gives you great ways to save.
Regular Savings
Minimum Balance to Open the Account: You must deposit $25 to open this account.
Monthly Service Charge: A service charge of $2.00 will be imposed each month if the minimum daily balance falls below $200 any day of the month. This service charge does not apply to minors under 18 years of age.
Interest Rate/Yield: Interest will be paid on the transit items deposited in the account when the funds are available to the bank. Interest is accrued daily and will be compounded quarterly to your account. Your interest rate and annual percentage yield may change at any time. At our discretion, we may change the rate on your account.
Transaction Limitations: Transfers from a Savings account to another account or to third parties are limited to six per month. A service charge fee of $1.00 will be charged for each withdrawal in excess of six during a monthly cycle. This fee will not apply to Heritage Club members.
Christmas Club
Minimum Balance to Open the Account: None
Monthly Service Charge: None
Interest Rate/Yield: You will be paid the disclosed interest rate until the next October. Interest will be credited to your account annually.
Money Market Savings
Minimum Balance to Open the Account: You must deposit $1,000.00 to open this account.
Monthly Service Charge: If a minimum daily balance of $1,000 or a minimum average daily balance of $2,500 is not maintained the charge is $7.50 per monthly statement.
Interest Rate/Yield: Interest accrues daily and will be compounded monthly to your account. At our discretion the interest rate and annual percentage yield may change at any time. Interest will be paid on transit item deposited when funds are made available to the bank.
Transaction Limitations: Transfers from a Money Market Savings account to another account or to a third party by preauthorized, automatic, or telephone transfer are limited to six per month with no more than three by check, draft, ShazamChek® Cards or similar order to third parties. $5.00 per debit over of 6 per month.
Farmers Savings Bank & Trust will provide full account disclosures at the time an account is opened.
